Seth MacFarlane is Just a Big Ol’ Teddy Bear

Why is Seth MacFarlane so dang-namin’ sexified?

Yeah, he’s super rich, but so is Bill Gates and no one really wants to doink that guy. It has to be the fact that MacFarlane is insanely talented, hilariously funny and 100% his own man. For example, who else in Hollywood would have the balls to make the leap from TV to the silver screen with an R-rated feature about a man and the teddy bear who talks to him?

That’s exactly that MacFarlane wants to do with his first film, “Ted,” for Universal.

It’s sort of a “Drop Dead Fred” concept where a boy wishes he could talk to his stuffed bear, only to have the bear come to life. They grow up together and their relationship is never questioned until the man’s girlfriend (potentially played by “Family Guy”’s Mila Kunis) poses an ultimatum: her or the bear. MacFarlane, who brought us Fox’s killer Sunday line-up of “American Dad,” “Family Guy” and “The Cleveland Show,” would direct and provide the voice for a CG-animated teddy bear.

While we wait for “Ted” to arrive in theater, who do we have to talk to about getting more MacFarlane on “FlashForward”? He popped up on the premiere and made a super brief appearance on last week’s episode, only to be shot after less than a dozen lines.

MacFarlane is the human equivalent of cow bell. There’s a fever and the only prescription is…more Macfarlane.
