Getting to Know Sasha Perl-Raver
















Sasha Perl-Raver traveled the world with her family at the age of nine, started her first business at 16, was crowned Miss San Francisco in 1999 and currently stars on the Food Network’s series, The Private Chefs of Beverly Hills. Sasha can also be seen online as AOL’s featured food/kitchen expert on their new web series with Wal-Mart, “Daily Solutions.” She has written and produced for NBC.com, CBS.com, AOL, Fox Atomic, Buzznet, LA2Day.com and GossipSauce.com, among other outlets, and is a regular on-air contributor to Fox News’ Lips and Ears entertainment show.

A personal chef and caterer from the age of 16, her reputation and business grew to include clients like the Creative Artists Agency and Us Weekly while her recipes have been commissioned and published in four books in the Little Big Book series created by Welcome Books (New York, Roses, Mom’s Almanac, and Love). She was named a “Celebrity Chef” and appeared on pilots for Bravo and Food Network before making the jump to entertainment journalism in 2007. She has since interviewed some of Hollywood's biggest stars and been quoted by MSNBC, IMDB, Page Six, Entertainment Weekly and numerous other outlets.

She also appeared as a chef and judge alongside Tyler Florence in an unaired pilot, can occasionally be seen as a food expert on the Style Network. The New York Daily News declared her “funniest in LA” and designer Randolph Duke once compared her to Angelina Jolie.

Her favorite food is cotton candy, her favorite morning caffeine is tea with soy milk and Patrick Swayze will always hold a very special place in her heart.
