Sam Worthington and Mads Mikkelsen Love Their Leather Miniskirts
There may not be a Harry Hamlin-style nude stroll on the beach in the remake of "Clash of the Titans," but audiences get some lovely leg shots thanks to the miniskirts donned by the Titans.
"There's a lot of skin," star Sam Worthington laughs. "You've got to get the girls in somehow and they ain't gonna come because of our brute heads. So we put the Christmas hams out."
Worthington's captivating co-star Mads Mikkelsen, who audiences might best remember as the Bond villain who cried tears of blood in "Casino Royale," continues, "It was strange. It would've been worse if someone was wearing cool pants but we're all wearing skirts. You just had to look at each other and say, 'I do have a sword and I do kill enormous creatures. It's okay with the skirt. I can live with it. ' [But] it was flying all over the place. How you girls [deal] with it, I don't get."
"I kept hoisting mine up. Gotta get those ricotta thighs out," Worthington crows.
"It's not a lot of protection but we got some flexibility," Mikkelsen shrugs gamely.
And a lovely cooling breeze.
"Clash of the Titans" opens April 2.
